I've been sick, so it was nice to have my lappie in bed with me when I had a fever, chills and couldn't sleep. :) Love the pics, too.

GingerAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09683064637626718318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35940445.post-56486917778326878382009-05-14T17:59:00.000-05:002009-05-14T17:59:00.000-05:00I use cable and it seems great to me - I can use m...I use cable and it seems great to me - I can use my laptop in any room. I prefer hotels that offer wired connectitons, though, as they seem faster, more reliable, and more secure.

When we first bit the bullet and paid for high speed connections, we went with the local cable company. That was a disaster - they were down more often than up. We switched to the phone company and haven't looked back.

Charlotte Phillips
HacksawCharlotte Phillipshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09336641340221491792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35940445.post-19258635696879528002009-05-14T08:28:00.000-05:002009-05-14T08:28:00.000-05:00We use cable at home and love it. Once in a while Earthlink is down, but usually there's no issues.

On the road, my husband looks for hot spots with his I-Touch, but I usually don't try to access my accounts. I had been wanting to get high speed connectivity for a long time through the telephone company but apparently a certain phone company needs to do a little more work on the "Can you hear me now?" stuff as the section of the village where I live does not have that type of connection available. Such is life in the sticks I guess.
But for the most part, I'm quite happy with the cable connection. Sure beats dial-up hands down!Jenihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16425701332785470116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35940445.post-49428271101152575352009-05-14T07:42:00.000-05:002009-05-14T07:42:00.000-05:00I'm also DSL, wireless, at home.
